Day 1
Arrive Delhi
Meet and greet at International air port and transfer to hotel for over night stay.
Day 2
Delhi / Chandigarh / Manali
Arrive Chandigarh by Shatabadi Express at 1030 hrs. On arrival board the Jeep/Coach and proceed to Manali. Distance of 314 kms will be covered in about 7 hrs. Pack lunch will be carried from Chandigarh and can be taken at a picnic spot enroute. On arrival in Manali, transfer to hotel. Dinner overnight in hotel at Manali.
Day 3
Manali - Sarchu
Early in the morning start driving to Jespa via Rohtang pass (13000 ft.) Darcha and Keylong, the distance about 150 kms drive over Baralacha-la (4892 Mts.) to Sarchu, The distance of about 114 kms will be covered in about 6 hrs. The landscape enroute is magnificent. Dinner overnight in tents at Sarchu
Day 4
Sarchu / Leh
Drive for about 12 hrs, a distance of about 220 kms over Taklang-la (5350 Mts.) the second highest motorable road in the world and Lachlang-la (5065 Mts.). Dinner overnight in hotel
Day 5
Leh / Pangong / Leh
Full day excursion to Pangong Lake (320Kms) 06,00 hrs. drive to Pangong Lake via Changla Pass. Lunch at Tangtse. Visit pangong Lake and drive back to Leh. Arrive Leh by evening. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6
Leh / Diskit Via Khardung La
Early morning drive from Leh to Nubra (7 hrs drive), The Nubra Valley lies in the north of Leh and is accessible over the Khardung la (18,380 ft.) one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The valley is on the trade route from Leh to Kharga via Saser and Karakoram passes. Apart from unparalleled trekking opportunities the valley houses several Buddhist monasteries such as Sumur (Khagar) and 350 years old Diskit Gompa famous for its murals. From Khardung la drive to the village of Khardung and then through starkly beautiful countryside to the TCP at Khalsar where permits have to be registered/checked. From here one has to turn to the left of Shyok River and drive for about 24 kms over a narrow steep road to Diskit where one has to stay in camps.
Day 7
Diskit / Leh
After breakfast drive downward Shyok River. An extremely rough and rocky stretch of flat ground. Cross the river over a bridge and arrive at the first village of Tirith. The road from here is extremely bad all the way upto Panamiki. The scenery however is spectacular with the snow-capped Karakoram Mountains in the background. The weather being much warmer in comparison to the Indus Valley, vegetation is thicker with a variety of trees and flowers. Visit the 150 years old Samasthanling Gompa at Bumur/Khagar. It is a big complex of 7 temples including the Ricpoches room. Walk half an hour from the gompa to Tegar village where there is another small gompa. Walk through the village and explore the surroundings. Also a small lake lies there. Later, transfer to Leh (172 kms). Dinner overnight hotel.
Day 8
In Leh
Full day excursion to Shey, Thiksey and Hemis Gompas, Shey Gompa lies on the way to Hemis. It is situated on the top of a hill and houses the largest victory stupa with a golden top. The statues made of copper and glided with gold are worthseeing. Thiksey Gompa lies on the left side of this road to Hemis. One can have a beautiful view of Indus Valley from the Gompa. Wall paintings of this Gompa are very interesting. From here drive to Hemis, which is the oldest, wealthiest and largest Gompa in Leh with beautiful painting stupas.Dinner overnight in hotel
Day 9
Leh / Delhi
Transfer to airport to catch flight for Delhi, Arrive Delhi Shopping at Janpath, Dinner and transfer to Apt to board onward flight.
